Signing of a Global Commitment Line Contract January 22, 2016

Tabuchi Electric Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Yodogawa, Osaka; President and Chief Executive Officer: Toshihiro Kaihoshi) has announced that the company has signed a Commitment Line Contract (syndicated commitment line) with a syndicate of four Japanese banks (Mizuho Bank, Ltd., Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Resona Bank, Ltd., and Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Ltd.) arranged by Mizuho Bank, Ltd. This contract is valued at JPY 4 billion for the Company and three overseas group companies. This global commitment line contract is a rare case of a Japanese company joining a syndicated commitment line that promises borrowings in the local currency of not only Japan but also that of overseas corporations.

This global commitment line aims to secure working capital in the first three years (FY2015-FY2017) of the Company's Mid-term Management Plan, "MBP20." The commitment line applies to four companies that particularly require investment during this period, 1) Tabuchi Electric Co., Ltd. (Head Office), 2) Hong Kong Tabuchi Electric Co., Ltd., 3) Thai Tabuchi Electric Co., Ltd., and 4) Tabuchi Electric Company of America, Ltd., for a total amount of JPY 4 billion during the three-year contract period.

The signing of the contract allows smooth and flexible funding in preparation for the execution of the Company's growth strategy. By positioning this global commitment line as part of strengthening financial structure and moving towards sustainable global business expansion, the Tabuchi Group will continue to strive for stable business operations.
