Vietnam Tabuchi Electric receives IATF 16949 certification March 19, 2018

Tabuchi Electric Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that its subsidiary company, VIETNAM TABUCHI ELECTRIC CO., LTD. has received IATF 16949 certification, which is an international standard for Environmental Management policy, specifically for the automotive industry. Automobile manufacturers accept IATF 16949 as a global criteria to procure automotive components.

We announced, in the new Mid-term Business Plan "MBP 2022" last February that we regard the automotive business as our third business pillar, which comes after our main businesses of Energy Solution Business and Power Supply & Device Business, to aim for sustainable growth of our in-vehicle device business for enhancing our corporate value. This activity to acquire IATF 16949 certification is a part of the process to realize the new Mid-term Business Plan "MBP 2022".

Tabuchi Electric Group will make every effort to ensure extremely high quality required for in-vehicle devices and parts, and we will strive to further improve our capabilities of engineering and manufacturing, and cost competitiveness.
